The University of Tennessee Lady Volunteers are the NCAA Division 1 Basketball National Champions. They defeated Stanford 64-48.

The victory gives the Lady Vols their second consecutive national titles and their eighth overall title.

Congratulations to Pat Summit and the Lady Vols. Will they make it number three next year? Check back next year to find out.

I finished the tournament 50-8 (.862). I did a great deal better in the women's tournament than I did predicting the men's tournament.

Oh well, on to baseball season.

I went 1-1 (.500). I got Tennessee over LSU but missed Stanford upsetting Connecticut

I am 49-8 (.560) for the tournament.
